Using repeated delays in your arrangements

「Delay」 creates a repetition of the audio sent to it.
It is used in many cases to create space and depth in a song.

Here, we will take a look at「Feedback」,
that determines the amount of repeats,
and try out some techniques.

Controlling FeedBack with automation

フィードバック

When the「FeedBack」is set to 100% and above, it creates an endless delay.
Using this, we will apply「FeedBack automation」to a song.

Raise the feedback amount when you want to increase the effect,
and lower it (up to zero) when you don’t want to use it.

ディレイタイム

You can edit the amount of time between the delay via the 「DelayTime」.

By changing the 「DelayTime」when the「FeedBack」is set high,
the delay with shift in pitch momentarily, creating a funny interesting effect.

This is great for sound effects as well.
